Heroes is a serial saga about people all over the world discovering that they have superpowers and trying to deal with how this change affects their lives. Some of the superheroes who will be introduced to the viewing audience include Peter Petrelli, a 30-year-old male nurse who suspects he might be able to fly, Isaac Mendez, a 28-year-old junkie who has the ability to paint images of the future when he is high, Niki Sanders, a 33-year-old Las Vegas showgirl who does things that are mysteriously connected with mirrors, Hiro Nakamura, a 24-year-old Japanese comic-book geek who literally makes time stand still, D.L. Hawkins, a 31-year-old inmate who can walk through walls, Matt Parkman, a beat cop who can hear other people's thoughts, and Claire Bennet, a 17-year-old cheerleader who defies death at every turn. As the viewing audience is discovering the nature of each hero's powers, the heroes, themselves, are discovering what having superpowers means to them as well as the larger picture of where their superpowers come from. Tune in each week to see how these heroes are drawn together by their common interest of evading the series' antagonist who wants to harvest their super-DNA for himself. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world! The series will star Greg Grunberg ( Alias ), Leonard Roberts ( Buffy the Vampire Slayer ), Milo Ventimiglia ( Gilmore Girls ), and Hayden Panettiere ( Ally McBeal , Guiding Light ). Tim Kring ( Crossing Jordan , Chicago Hope ) is the series' creator. The pilot is set to be directed by Dave Semel ( American Dreams , Buffy, the Vampire Slayer , Beverly Hills, 90210 ). Heroes will be produced by NBC/Universal/Tailwind.

The story recounts the early life of Genghis Khan who was a slave before going on to conquer half the world including Russia in 1206.

Mongol is very much a "based off a true story" kind of movie. We certainly aren't seeing the true Genghis Khan. The film is riddled with historical inaccuracies, he is captured three times during the film, in reality he was only captured once. However, historical accuracy is not Bodrov's intent. Sergei Bodrov, grew up in the Soviet Union, a place where Genghis Khan is painted as a vicious killing machine. Mongol attempts to humanize him. This is the film's strongest point.

Mongol is just a good love story. Temudjin picks a bride at age nine named Börte and is set to wed her in five years. Soon after his father, a Khan, is killed. Betrayed by those his father used to command, Temudjin is left with nothing and swears to take it all back. This is the basic premise of Mongol. The relationship between Temudjin and Börte is portrayed as beautifully simple love. The film uses this connection to move the plot rather than bloody violence. Mongol does, however, contain several spectacular battles. Bodrov seems to have taken a page out of 300 and we're given a splattering of death sequences that while all together different feel and are shot similarly.

Film ini sempat hilang dari koleksi DVD "kota kembang saya" (semua koleksi saya bajakan, cuman punya 1 yang original: L`arc~en~ciel Blurry eyes PV kiriman dari jepang). Setelah DVD ini sempet muter-muter di pinjaman berantai, akhirnya kembali lagi ke saya.

Malam itu setelah nyari Film di TV ga ada yang seru. Akhirnya terpilih lah film ini.

Film kisah nyata tentang perang saudara, pertikaian kelompok hutu dan tutsi (ga jelas bagaimana membedakannya) warisan penjajah belgia. Paul Rusasebegina seorang hutu yang menikah dengan Tatiana seorang tutsi. Paul adalah seorang manajer hotel bintang lima di rwanda, karena jiwa kemanusiaan yang tinggi di masa konflik ia mengubah hotel tersebut menjadi kamp pengungsi.

Karakter Paul digambarkan sebagai orang yang cerdik berdiplomasi, walaupun hanya seorang manajer hotel. Ia mampu mengambil keputusan di saat darurat dan berhasil menyelamatkan 1200 orang dari jutaan orang yang tewas disaat pembantaian massal itu terjadi.
